2007 Winemakers Gala

The Fifth Annual Harvest of Hope Winemaker’s Gala, presented by the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, is scheduled for October 13th at the Sunland Golf & Country Club in Sequim.  As in previous years, all proceeds will benefit the Thomas Family Cancer Center in Sequim.

Doug Seaver, owner of the Port Townsend Tasting Room & Lounge and Cedar Creek restaurant in Sequim will be this year’s guest chef. Doug is highly respected locally and is the previous owner of FINS Coastal Cuisine in Port Townsend. 
In addition to the fabulous five course dinner, guests will enjoy wines poured from two well respected eastern Washington wineries. 

Walla Walla Vintners is a noted, limited production winery dedicated to producing handcrafted premium red wines – Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Curvee, Malbec, Merlot and Sangiovese.  The wines are crafted by owners and winemakers, Gordon Venneri and Myles Anderson.

aMaurice is a premier family-owned boutique winery also located in Walla Walla.  Winemakers, Ned Morris and Anna Schafer are committed to sustainable viticulture in the pursuit to produce the highest quality grapes in order to craft superior white wines. Guests will savor their Chardonnay and Viognier.
